The following steps are the way to update your driver manually:
- Go to Device Manager. You can do right click on My Computer, then choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel
- You have to do right click on the hardware device you want to update and then choose Update Driver Software
- You have to choose to select the location of the new driver manually and browse to the folder on your computer where you downloaded the driver
